Google's Knol- Knowledge for All

The latest addition to the Google sites is KNOL, where people will be able to talk about their areas of expertise.

Knol for all, was launched by Google a couple of months ago in December 2007, and ever since was restricted to a invitation-only audience. This has helped them gather a good amount of contribution, and the site is now ready to be opened for all.

There is lot you can learn about in the website. But unfortunately there is not everything that the user will be willing to know. But the site can safely pass this hurdle with the fact that it is still in its growing phase and that there is a lot of area yet to be covered. Knowing that it is a Google venture, one must know that this is not going to be a problem area at all.

This effort by Google has let to an enormous exchange of knowledge amongst people. Not everyone can know everything, and not everything could be exchanged. But now this is possible and for it, lets thank the masterminds of Google who initiated this marvelous project.

This as a matter of fact could be a stiff competition for Wikipedia, that already has astrong fan following. It is no doubt that Google and Knol together, will have to struggle quite a bit before they can actually pull the Wikipedia fans towards them.

Spreading Knowledge is the biggest game on the Internet, and once again the biggest players of the web have grabbed the cat by its neck. We wish Knol and Google a great success!
