Social Media the Reigning Phase of Online Marketing

Social media is the reigning phase of Online marketing. It is also being called 'communication marketing.' Check my comments on it.

The gap in the marketing of brands Online is now being bridged by Social Media. While I was doing this little assignment on social media as communication marketing, I came across really thoughtful ideas on how the gap that was existing so far between the marketers and the customers is now being bridged by social media and its chain of tools, which seems to be a never ending list with additions made almost everyday.

Social Media has helped to bring the marketers and the customers on an equal platform, where they can openly talk and discuss on various topics. The primary reason for the growth of this Online marketing technique is that it is necessarily informal and relaxed form of writing. Users are free to comment on issues and discuss pitfalls openly. Moreover, marketers invite such discussions as it does not only make them aware of their drawbacks but at the same time also acts as a promotional tool, since users actually visit their websites.

Social media as a conversation marketing medium is changing the way marketing has been conducted so far. It is bringing both the marketers and the customers to light, making Online marketing more interactive than it ever was.
